This is my first official blog post and it is LAME! But that’s OK. I’m still figuring things out and I don’t mind being lame sometimes.

Like with crochet, we all need to start somewhere and nobody is perfect at the start, so I’m sure that my website will become better as I get better at WordPress and blogging.

I was always criticized by my teachers in school that I wrote too much like how I talk rather than in more formal written style. In fact, I was so criticized about my writing skills from my English teachers in school that I felt that I was unable to write anything well all throughout my education. I still have some of those feelings if I’m being honest.

But it’s a blog. Not a novel. Not an essay. Not a report. And it is my blog so I can dictate how I write and you the reader has an issue with my style, I assume you will simply stop reading and go find another crochet blog to read! There are so many good ones out there.

I plan to use this space to be honest. Show my mistakes as well as my victories. There are definitely a lot of both!

Will I ever make money off this blog? Probably not, but that’s OK. If I can help out a few people or make some of you laugh or smile, then I’m happy with that.
